| It's really well-edited. I was afraid that it would have the endless quick cuts, like, for example, Dreamgirls. Instead, the editing is smart, particularly in the choice of when to use a piece shot in front of the audience and when not to. I'm falling asleep, so these comments are preliminary, but the songs I did see always have an edit just before the end so they can switch to a version with audience. It gives the excitement of live theatre without the lost moments when people cheer over important lines. All in all, so far I think it's a treasure! |
