| I wasn't in a rush to sign up even though I am a huge Disney fan ( I visited Disneyland in 1960 when I was 7... it still had that new theme park smell ) and have the DVD of every animated title Uncle Walt "worked" on ( including "Victory Through Airpower" and "Song Of The South" ). "Hamilton" was a big reason I signed up but the new material for the streaming service is terrific."Prop Culture" is not only fun but very emotional ( Tony Walton is reunited with the Mary Poppins costume he worked on DECADES ago ). "Imagineering" puts these creative names ( Mary Blair, Ward Kimball, etc ) in the spotlight and they deserved to be known. I got to visit the Disney studio in 1983 when the old backlots were still up... it's a very small studio but it's small output of titles has so much quality and emotion. And there is something to be said of watching a film or short with a few clicks of a remote control and not having to search for it in the closet. What I am rambling on about is that I will keep my subscription past a month... the $6.99 is the same price as a package of Finlandia cheese. It was weird seeing the Disney logo before "Hamilton" starts. I'd suggest for new viewers to watch it with the subtitles, too, to really appreciate the words. I had seen "Hamilton" at the Public ( through Mary Ann Lamb I met a few of the dancers and they're all sweet, wonderful kids ) and at the Richard Rodgers... this filmed version was very well done! It's going to be fun to see how big a success this version will be! |

| That was the original plan with an announced date of October 2021. The pandemic changed the distribution methodology and planning, of course. I'm sure they could still make a small fortune by doing a future theatrical release. Earlier reports said it would only be available on Disney+ streaming in 2020. The original plans were October 2021 movie release with DVD/Blu-ray in 2022. Both could still happen assuming movie theaters are open by then. | |

| I’m expecting it to make several return appearances to Disney Plus, so they can grab new subscribers. Disney used to do that with their VHS and DVDs of their old films—make them available for a limited time, pull then, then bring them back. Laura |
