| And how many "forget" to cancel. Like gym memberships. I didn't realize some parts were without an audience. Thought it was going to be pieced together from multiple love performances (it doesn't matter to me if either way). |

| my understanding is that they shot two live performances, and then did two days of close ups and additional numbers in between the two live performance shoots. I think this is how Lin has reported it. | |

| According to the linked NY Times article, the filmed version is edited from two live performances captured with nine stationary cameras. These were a Sunday matinee and a Tuesday evening performance, and between those two shows the cast performed individual numbers with filming equipment onstage. I've just finished watching it now, and it's a marvel. How wonderful to have a beautifully captured document of such an important and significant artwork. Joe. |
