| He was in a group called The Sugar Shoppe and they did Laura Nyro's "Save The Country" . Unlike the Mamas and Papas' lip sync appearances on the show, Garber and company appeared to be putting over a very intricate vocal arrangement live. And Garber makes one sweet looking hippie. | |

| It's hard to believe that's a live performance... the vocals all sound perfect, and I'm amazed humans can sound like that! And only 4 of them. Also, it makes me think immediately of Godspell and "When Whilt Thou Save the People"... lyrically and musically. I am pretty sure that song would have been written before this performance but still. The coincidence with Garber especially is pretty fun. |
