| Some of it may be the camera work, too. In the theater you can focus directly on what you choose to but on video it's rare that a camera will stay still long enough to let you focus on one person. The camera work on 'Hamilton' isn't insanely distracting, but I have no doubt it's distracting enough to pull people out of digging into the words coming out of the TV (which isn't the same as live sound, either.) |
