I know from your first posting on this subject that you have little regard for the score and you no doubt intended this one as well to be negative. But your rephrasing of the subject line immediately reminds one of O'Neill and specifically his supreme masterpiece which he did want suppressed.
LESTAT certainly isn't a masterpiece. But I think it certainly holds its own with the scores of BILLY, the least memorable aspect of that show, as well as AIDA. If for no other reason than Carolee Carmello, I would very much like to hear the OCR of LESTAT. |
