I'm not sure what you're contradicting me about, scoot1er. It sounds like you're contradicting me about the intermission. I've always said that an intermission was not added to the Broadway production until after the production opened with an intermission. I now even have the date when it was added on Broadway: July 23, 1970. I posted that date here the last time this was discussed, except I posted it with a typo: 1969 instead of 1970, which may be why Delvino remembers me saying that the intermission stayed in the show only a few months when in fact it stayed for more than 16 months. But Delvino's post also says that I said it was in the Broadway production for a few months so even with that I'm not sure what you're contradicting me about. Unless it's about Da Silva but you didn't mention him.

In the same thread from the past (which I think was on the board just around a year or so ago as I had a date of July 1, 2019 on the document in which I saved the conversation), I mentioned that I saw the show on July 3, 1969, with no intermission.

EDIT: I now see that Delvino did seem to be saying that I had said it opened on Broadway with an intermission ("but believe Alan explained to me that it went in and stayed a few months into the B'way run). " But I didn't say that. I have the posts, and I never would have said that. And I think that Delvino may have meant that I said that the intermission was added a few months into the Broadway run.

That last statement is what I meant. My post was quick and awkwardly worded.

Regarding your edit: That is what I was referring to. Sorry if I misunderstood but that’s how it read to me.

Not a problem. Just wanted to clarify that I would never have said that the show opened on Broadway with an intermission.
