Thank you, Alan, for both clips. A much more satisfying way to conclude July 4th than watching fireworks outside. There's so much I could say about this show, these performers, these numbers, the way they were shot and their very existence and in the format they were presented on TV. I'll just say one word: devastating.
Despite the poor quality of what's on youtube, one thing I love about the clips is that they knew how to shoot these things then. I can't stand the way they usually give us live theatre, whether complete or excerpts, nowadays
