| They did get Groff, which means that O'Malley agreed to it (maybe in his original contract). I don't know any of the backstory but she said on her website that, among other things, she had become "angry." Whatever had become the situation, perhaps she burned a bridge on the way out. (Again, I don't know.) What I do know is that you couldn't take your eyes off of her dancing and she was indeed a part of the signature of the show. There is good b-roll footage of her that can, at least, let you see what the big deal was. And as I said, her gripe about the OBC label was totally legit. |
