I used to have faith that everything that needed to be recorded would eventually have the muscle and finance put behind it to be preserved. The lack of Broadway recordings from Shuffle Along and After Midnight in recent years has shaken that faith.
Of course maybe my view of the theatre world is just no longer in sync with the people who have said muscle and finance. |
