This number "A Handbag Is Not a Proper Mother" is a lot of fun, among others in the score. I've never seen a production of "Ernest In Love", but it sounds like it would be a great candidate for Encores Off-Center when that resumes, though of course, it would work better in a smaller venue, being something of a chamber piece. Has anyone some experience seeing it or appearing in a production? |
