| We saw her in Follies too,but wish she could have done Who's That Woman. Saw her in a one woman show in that little bad luck theater way west on 42nd-she was great with the singing and of course the comedy. My mom and I also saw her outside the Westside Arts on 43rd one summer afternoon,where we had all just seen a revue starring Donna Mc Kechnie,Georgia Engel and Barbara Feldon-forget the name of that-but she could not have been nicer to us. My mom had always adored her on Perry Como,and it was like talking to an old friend. When Donna came out,she introduced us to her and my mom was in seventh heaven-meeting 2 idols in one afternoon . A lovely person and an amazing talent! |
