Nonprofit theaters could immediately begin partnering with reputable charitable organizations to develop tax deductible emergency grants to the performing arts community. The problem is those institutions are probably fighting over a dwindling pool of donors to keep their institutions alive.
But I agree Billhaven, a unified course of action is needed and a series of public Town Hall meetings to address the issue or at least publicized closed door meetings would be a positive step. |
