I saw her in MOLLY - the musical based on the radio series, The Goldbergs. Alan Arkin directed. Possibly one of the worst casting decisions of all time. Gertrude Berg/Molly Goldberg was just not in Ms Ballard's 'fach' - gentle Jewish comedy. I also saw her in CARNIVAL - where she was perfectly matched with material and was a real show stopper.
