What a lovely cast! I saw it in the West End with Patricia Routledge, Donald Sinden, Alec McCowen and Angela Thorne.
Did you se the Dustin Hoffman-directed film? I saw it at the Toronto Film Festival and at the Q&A they revealed that the original casting had been Tom Courtney and Albert Finney, but that Finney's health had prevented him from doing it. (Billy Connolly replaced him.)
