This Saturday, July 25 at 1pm EST the National Theatre of Greece is live-broadcasting THE PERSIANS, Aeschylus's earliest existing play:

Apparently this year is the 2,500th anniversary of the Battle of Salamis, which the play commemorates. Perhaps the long view of history will help us put our current times in perspective? |
