I was involved long ago with a production of The Mousetrap, and we also played Christopher Wren and Miss Casewell as gay. I don't remember Giles implying that Mollie might be having an affair with Christopher Wren (which in any case would be hard to manage under the circumstances). I suppose I could take a look at the script to see if I've forgotten it.
I've read that when the London production was re-directed (relatively recently), some changes (not by Christie) were made to the script so I wonder a bit if that version is now licensed and perhaps you did that. |
