There has been a definite and serious upturn in crime in Manhattan. This is not a right-wing fantasy. AOC, for one, has been talking about it. It's real. It shouldn't be demagogued but it's real. And that upturn includes Hell's Kitchen, where community activists have met with police to discuss what can be done about it.
