| Interesting that you said it's very obvious early on who the killer is. A friend and I saw The Mousetrap on my first trip to London in 1971. At the interval, we both expressed who we thought was the killer and were right. Years later, on the same day we saw on Broadway Sleuth and Conduct Unbecoming, also a thriller of sorts and one we enjoyed much more than Sleuth, which was a huge hit. Early on in Sleuth, we had that figured out, which made the play something of a disappointment, despite the excellent performances of Anthony Quayle and Keith Baxter. |
