I just watched Audra McDonald at Live With Carnegie Hall on their streaming site. Believe it's now available on YouTube. She sang about a dozen songs, most of them from her repertoire with one song she said she was singing for the first time (Before the Parade Passes By (great!) She was as lovely and intense as you'd imagine. In glorious voice. she particularly slayed me with Some Days and Being Good. Her comments about the songs were insightful and at times very moving. She's such a consummate artist and such a authentic, lovely person. A wonderful way to spend a hot summer day during a pandemic.
