I am generally against firing artists for political concerns, especially when I know at least one of those artists to be a person of integrity and dedication. Using terms as hyperbolic as "shameful and reprehensible" only makes this seem more like the latest escapade of cancel culture, much as you might want to use it to signal your virtue.
