I wouldn't call it *no* role...if IATSE, AEA, SDC, etc. tell their members it's not safe to go back to work, that certainly puts a damper on League/producer plans. They won't be the ones making the decision to reopen, but it won't be made without their input.
This seems more like a counterweight to anybody who considers rushing back into production too soon. "If you wanted us to work before it's really safe, we'd want this." Less of a "we actually expect these things to happen," more of a "you're not going to endanger our members by jumping the gun and cutting corners." |
