Also, one of the more challenging things about singing the role of Amalia is the song "Where's My Shoe?". The way Cook does it (and she was particularly good at this sort of thing - listen to "I Wouldn't Marry You" from "The Gay Life" and "The Piano Lesson" in "The Music Man") is to sound like you're "talking" (or "screaming" in the case of "Where's My Shoe") when you're actually "singing" every note.
