From a Google exploration, it looks like the Fornes play consisted of 4 different plays. I don't know if there are linking aspects. At least one or two of them were performed in New York prior to the combining, but it's not clear whether the 4-play version ever was. It premiered in Milwaukee and was also performed in Providence at Trinity Rep.
