| This was a great movie, and I am very excited by this news. I hope they get very imaginative in writing, designing and directing it. The movie forcefully conveys the extraordinary scientific and mathematical skill of those women; the scenes of John Glenn in training, on the pad, in the craft and in space are woven effectively into the storytelling. How you can translate those things into a stage show will require a lot of theatrical innovation. The movie also avoids making the white men flatly evil. I hope they don't simplify the real people into cartoons. I'm excited to see what happens with this! |
