| I think the "B" section of "Will He Like Me?" is one of the most glorious pieces of music in all of musical theater. It truly serves as a "release"—musically, a rush of melody from the tense and pensive "A" section of the song, and dramatically, Amalia's emotional release of her particular dreams and fears about her dinner with "Dear Friend." Just gorgeous and absolutely perfect. |
