| Peter Hall's film has the woods damp and muddy. It's surprising to me that relatively few productions try to do things to reflect Titania's speech about — can I put it this way? — climate change. Productions rarely cut it but so often all the humans still walk around dressed as if the weather is perfectly lovely early summer weather. |
