They were the best parts of the show, best roles and best performances in them. Happy for Pope, McDermott, Taylor and Parsons, and all gave stellar performances in their roles... but Taylor and her role especially was not nearly as award-worthy as patti and joe, and McDermott really wasn't. But I'm SO glad they nominated the evil gay and the straight guy who has sex with men for money. Classic.
