Wish ANY WEDNESDAY was on tape...I never got to see her onstage, having gone mainly to musicals as a child in the 70s, & started at HB Studio after she had stopped acting in productions at its Playwrights Foundation. I adore her work...She is also so wonderful in the film of The Actors Studio production of THE THREE SISTERS.
I am glad I audited one of the classes she taught near the end of her life...a friend was a student of hers & he adored her. Herbert Berghof spoke of her with reverence in nearly every one of his classes! |
