In 30+ years I have never met a creator who wanted their show to close or downsize. The point here is that the best observation is that of Glinda (or Gandalf).
Right now, no one knows what path(s) will be possible back to a new normal. ALW is suffering from confusion about what is/will be possible henceforth, steeped in a political philosophy based on the primacy of his making money irrespective of the cost to producers much less the health of potential audiences. |
