Published in the late 50s/early 60s.
They mostly feature well known B-level movie stars who were more famous for their Hollywood glamor than their serious
acting chops. I think I remember LPs with Virginia Mayo, Fernando Lamas, and "Slapsie Maxie" Rosenbloom (??). I remember
seeing them in cut-out bins at Tower Records in the very late 70s. I am very pleased to say that I bought one, where the
"Co-star" is none other than Tallulah Bankhead. It's one of my most prized possessions. This is where she gave an
actining lesson with the phrase "What have you been doing?" later semi-immortalized by the semi-immortal Lypsinka. |
