This is an interesting thread. Why do you think there hasn't been any discussion about race from the cabaret community when so many other people in show business are talking about the issue? As someone who is BIPOC does it bother you? Even without the suggestion of prejudice from club owners and the groups you mention, shouldn't people at least be talking about it? But according to the original post, nobody has said anything, except the article you linked that was a good, informative post. Does there need to be a change? Could there be? Can cabaret survive COVID? I'd be interested to know what you think.
