Honestly, one of the most depressing reads about theater and COVID-19 thus far. I'm glad these actors are getting paid, but after reading that article, there's not a chance in hell I'm going near either of those productions.

I had the opposite reaction to this article. It made me want to see the show and support the company.

I own an apartment in the Massachusetts Berkshires and have frequented both companies for years. Around the time of the shutdown, I made donations within my means to both. That's how I choose to support them at this time. I'm glad you had a positive reaction to the article, but everything about it depressed me, as did Michael Paulson's subsequent Twitter thread about attending the opening performance.
