| Did you notice the error in the review? Jeannette Catsoulis' review has a chronological error. Ashman and Menken's career did not start with "Little Shop of Horrors" as she claims (". . . we’re guided gently through . . . his fruitful partnership with the composer Alan Menken (beginning with their astonishingly durable “Little Shop of Horrors”)" but "God Bless You Mr. Rosewater" in 1979. I'm old enough to have seen both productions. Notwithstanding, I can't wait to see the film. |
