Ugly of him to use the term “white boy” and misleading to suggest that race accounts for the difference in their pay. I hope he was just speaking in the heat of the moment and that he sends Aaron a personal apology.

Actors, as I’m sure many of us know from experience, are consistently paid more to work on network television than they are to work in cable. I bet that even a major star like Sterling K. Brown makes a hell of a lot more money for “This Is Us” than he did for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” and the discrepancy is only going to grow more obvious as the residuals come in.

Revned’s assessment of this situation strikes me as clear-headed and fair as well.
