Could not agree with you more. I watched it last night. Such an incredible portrait of Mr. Ashman, and his contributions to the world of musical theater. An undeniable talent taken from us much too soon.

The documentary seems to end abruptly...but that was what AIDS did: It ended the lives of such talented people so abruptly.
