I know that certain circumstances are seen as tragic. But I can't help thinking...what a GREAT guy, what a FABULOUS talent, how lucky he has been to share his work with us and we lucky to have seen it. His Buddy, that splendid comic creation in Drowsy Chaperone, his Billis, just those three alone.....he has had one of the very greatest careers ever. And she too. Like fireworks the two of them, such sterling examples of how to just be the whole of it.
And now he has the smarts and kindness to share what his life has been like. Unfiltered through the political lens of the CDC or CNN or any of the pundits, we get to hear it, what it has been like. what a service he provides. GREAT GREAT GREAT. |
