| They're taking a gamble. We've just seen HAMILTON on our TVS. if DIANA isnt a heck of a lot better than reports from its La Jolla tryout, they could kill there show, as LEGALLY BLONDE on MTC did. | |

| That was MTV, right? I don't recall that "killing" Legally Blonde. Personally, though, I would have liked to have killed that audience - who seemed (to me anyway) to think THEY were the show. :-( |

| I don't think there is anything alive that could be killed. Unlike Legally Blonde, which had a Broadway pedigree, this show does not. It has not opened. They have no choice but to say it is going to open. Otherwise they cannot call it a Broadway show; the best they could do would be to call it a show that likely would have opened had it not been for the pandemic. It's marketing reality, not reality reality. | |
