| ''Stars in the House'' last night hosted a ''Newsies'' reunion featuring Jeremy Jordan, Kara Lindsay, Ben Fankhauser, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Aisha de Haas. They all starred in the 2016 Disney filmed stage version of ''Newsies,'' and it will be streamed Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. EST at Playbill.com, to benefit the Actors Fund. On ''Stars in the House,'' Jordan and company recalled their audition stories and shared their favorite moments from Alan Menken and Jack Feldman's Tony-winning musical. Lindsay also sang ''The Story of My Life,'' which was cut from the show and replaced by ''Watch What Happens.'' The camaraderie among these actors was so fun and infectious, and ''Newsies'' couldn't have asked for anyone better to headline it. |
