I remember seeing this and I remember Cretan things in the show reminding me of other shows. There might have been others but I don’t remember.
1. A large triangle as part of the set. There was one in the production of “Aida”
2. A window in a room flying open window reminiscent to Peter Pan flying through the window to Wendy’s bedroom.
3. Whistling because he was afraid as Anna did in The King and I.
4. The rowboat like in Phantom of the Opera .
