I don't think there is anything alive that could be killed. Unlike Legally Blonde, which had a Broadway pedigree, this show does not. It has not opened. They have no choice but to say it is going to open. Otherwise they cannot call it a Broadway show; the best they could do would be to call it a show that likely would have opened had it not been for the pandemic. It's marketing reality, not reality reality.
