There were definitely speakers all over the house broadcasting casino noises of various kinds during the half-hour before the show. Very annoying. Gave me a headache before the show even started. So I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they also broadcast applause and/or laughter when called for. I just thought the entire show was vulgar and crude.
