Even when Mary Martin wasn't touring in musicals, she traveled as the spokeswoman for her line of sheets which Martin designed.
After her husband died. I saw her at a Philadelphia Department Store around 1980.
I was impressed by her energy and efforts to talk with everyone who came to see her. I understood why Ms. Martin almost never missed a performance on stage. |
