If you are thinking of buying, I would send a message to the company (contact info at bottom of main page) and ask. If they are not, it seems likely they would be taken down. They need a verification of permission from each vendor. (It also appears this issue is not limited to Broadway.)
The site describes their vendors as "artists." Etsy actually monitors product carefully to make sure it is made by the person selling. I don't think taking someone else's image and having it printed on fabric makes one an artist. |
