I didn't say they/we all care about awards (a very cynical way to read my post, but maybe I left it too much to interpretation). What i mean is that a Tony can change your entire life and career in a very big and positive way. Why would anyone who would have happily been nominated and potentially won, and participated in this awards ceremony/show any other year now just NOT want to because if they won they'd be accepting it from their living room due to a pandemic forcing us to distance?
It makes no sense. |
