The Grammys were pretty lax about defining those ''principal artists'' on a cast album. ''Dear Evan Hansen'' listed 8 performers; ''Hamilton,'' 10.
They seemed to have tightened that: Only 5 ''principal artists'' were listed from ''Hadestown,'' ''Moulin Rouge!,'' ''Ain't Too Proud'' and ''Oklahoma!''
And I'm glad the Daytime Emmys dumped that Musical Performance category. Doing promo on a talk show isn't worthy of TV's highest award. |
