David Byrne wrote Burning Down The House and Once In A Lifetime. His last record had a hit song called Everybody’s Coming To My House. He wrote Psycho Killer and Road To Nowhere. He wrote Here Lies Love. Does that trailer showcase any of those songs that exemplify what the show is about? No. It shows one song written by Janelle Monae called Hell You Talmbout. Wikipedia describes the song as follows - The word "talmbout" in the title is a contraction of "talking about"; thus, the title asks "what the hell are you talking about?" The song lists the names of various African-American people who died as a result of encounters with law enforcement and/or racial violence, and implores listeners to say the names of the dead. And Spike would be very sad to hear anyone describe his cameo as a micro-moment!

You've described the song, not the trailer, and not the portion of the song used in the trailer. And you haven't made clear why the song, which is in the show, doesn't exemplify what the show is about relative to the songs Byrne wrote. A choice was made to use a cover song rather than a Byrne song. That doesn't make the show "a BLM show", though clearly Byrne made the choice to include the song's politic in a show exploring the notion of American utopias. I'm not sure why you have a problem with featuring a song from the show in the trailer, but clearly it's bugging you.
