| Looking at the eligibility rulings, unless they decide not to give out the prize, Percy Jackson is the de facto winner for Best Score, which, correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't happened since Sunset Blvd. in 1995. As far as Best Musical, I'm sure some feel that Sunset or other controversial winners like Contact and Fosse were undeserving. But, as a fan of each of those shows (to varying degrees), I think this may be the worst year for Best Musical since 1974 when Raisin beat out Over Here! and Seesaw. |
