For the record Ben Platt is 26 and Amy Adams 8s 46......no problem......for example Stockard Channing was 27 when she filmed Grease. Just watched THE ENTERTAINER on TV.....Laurence Olivier's father was only one year older than him.....Answer? MAKEUP.

Eileen Herlie was 11 years younger than Olivier, yet she played his mother onscreen.
