I only saw the first version. I still think it should have been a 90 minute show. After the battle above the audience occurred, there was really nothing compelling to keep the show going.

Some of my New York friends kept telling me, "Don't go, it's terrible", regarding version #1. But after 5 months, I had to see for myself what it was like before it was revised. I bought a $30 rush ticket, which was easy to get, and was seated on the main floor in something like the 15th row or so. Act 1 was pretty good, but I couldn't figure out exactly what was going on in Act 2. Even though it never officially opened, a lot of critics finally reviewed it.

The actors at the stage door told me some pretty funny stuff.
